The FTC880 connects by cable straight to the battery terminals – no cutting into the loom. The IP69K housing survives pressurised water and steam, and the unit sees up to 41 satellites, so the position holds even between buildings.

The device stays ours for 24 months and you use it. After two years you buy it for €1 excl. VAT — 12 paid months of service are enough.
I'm interestedThe unit connects with a ring-terminal cable straight onto the battery terminals – plus and minus. Nothing is cut into the original loom, so fitting and removal take minutes and the vehicle stays as it was.
That makes the FTC880 a favourite for vehicles under warranty, rentals, trailers and machinery, where you would rather not touch the electrics.
The housing carries the highest protection rating, IP69K: dust, high-pressure water and steam. That is a class above ordinary units and it shows on a construction site, in agriculture or on machinery cleaned with a pressure washer.
The electronics work from −40 °C to +85 °C. Dimensions 118 × 48 × 18.5 mm, weight 118 g.
The FTC880 receiver tracks up to 41 visible satellites from GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou. Position accuracy is under 1.8 metres – noticeably better than ordinary units manage in built-up areas.
Data goes out over 4G LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback. A data SIM and coverage across Europe are included in the monthly service.
The sleep modes are designed so the unit does not drain the car battery even during long stands – in deep sleep it draws a few milliamps.
The 320 mAh backup battery means it reports being disconnected from the car battery and keeps sending its position for a while. The accelerometer adds crash, towing and driving-style detection, and the unit also spots signal jamming.
The logbook fills itself in, you see the position live, zones alert on entry and exit and driving style is scored per driver.
We keep the data encrypted and you reach it from a computer or a phone. The service starts at €6/month with no lock-in and the loyalty price drops to €4.

No. It has power-saving modes drawing a few milliamps and goes to sleep during longer stands. If a vehicle is parked for months, we can stretch the intervals further.
The highest resistance to dust, high-pressure water and steam. So neither machinery cleaned with a pressure washer nor a construction site environment harms the unit.
The FTC880 is simpler – a cable to the battery and done, plus it is waterproof. The FMC130 wires into the vehicle supply and adds inputs and outputs for an immobiliser, an iButton reader or a fuel flow meter.
With annual payment for the service the device is included. It stays ours for 24 months; after two years you buy it for €1 excl. VAT – as long as you have paid for 12 months of service. With monthly payment its indicative one-off price is €60.
